UNI EN ISO 22000:2005 Food safety management systems

The ISO 22000 standard defines the requirements for the certification of food safety management systems. The standard is aimed at the organizations involved in the food chain either directly or indirectly that need to demonstrate their ability to control hazards on food security and accurately identify the risks to which they are exposed and manage them effectively.  The ISO 22000 standard helps ensure food safety on the basis of fundamental elements internationally recognized by all operators in the industry. Among the many benefits of implementing this standard we can list the interactive communication between the company concerned and the different actors in the supply chain; process control and management of risks to health safety through operational measures to monitor the company’s management system.
