F-GAS Reg. CE 303/2008

Field of application of FGAS inscriptions
FGAS certification considers all the activities such as installation, maintenance, repair, or control of the equipment containing certain fluorinated gases. Therefore this certification applies to all enterprises and all operators that have activities involving the use of HFC and PFC (R410, R407, R404a, R134a; Attention: Although they are commonly defined “ecological” gases, e.g. R410, they are covered by the scope of the EC Regulation 303/2008). Only the refrigeration systems with ammonia and CO2 are excluded and air conditioning systems that still use gas called R22.
Operators and enterprises that perform one or more of the following activities on operating equipment containing FGAS (regardless of the amount of FGAS used):

installation
maintenance
repair
recovery or control

(Even if there is only one activity practiced singularly it is covered by the application field, e.g. If a company makes only the maintenance and not the installation, it is covered by the Regulation 303/2008 if it uses FGAS). Even domestic air conditioning systems that have minimal FGAS charges (under 3 kg.) are covered by the scope of Regulation 303/2008.
